A huge fire broke out in a commercial complex near the Presidential Palace in the Sudanese capital, Khartoum, while local media reported that it resulted in great material losses.
The sources pointed out that “civil defense teams rushed to the place of the fire, known locally as (Naivasha Market), in an attempt to control the fire and prevent its spread to a wider area.”

And she emphasized, “The fire affected many shops, and that the losses appeared to be great.”
Eyewitnesses indicated that “the flames spread towards exhibitions of ready-to-wear clothes and shops selling electronic devices.”
The local media did not report any casualties in the fire, the cause of which has not been revealed yet.
