Khloe Kardashian is opening up about her close bond with Tristan Thompson’s 18-year-old brother, Amari, and her decision to become his caretaker following the death of their mother, Andrea Thompson.
Speaking on a recent episode of her Khloe in Wonder Land podcast, the reality star explained that her current role stems from a long-standing friendship with Andrea and her prior involvement in Amari’s medical care.
“Tristan’s mom and I became such good friends,” Kardashian shared. “I had such a good relationship with Andrea, and I would help her with Amari medically. She would have questions, she would need connections to certain doctors and I would help with that.”
Kardashian, who shares two children with Tristan, revealed she was already “involved in all of Amari’s medical appointments” before his mother’s passing. Amari has a severe form of epilepsy called Lennox-Gastaut syndrome (LGS), and Andrea had been his “sole caretaker” in Canada. Kardashian noted she was committed to providing whatever resources she could to support the family.
