‘KLIA Karen’ goes viral for berating airline staff in Kuala Lumpur

A short clip of a foreign tourist berating an airline workers member at Kuala Lumpur Intercontinental Airport (KLIA) has long gone viral on TikTok.

Uploaded on Tuesday by TikTok user Yully Lee (@missssssyl), an airline ground workers member, the 16-2nd clip demonstrates a lady verbally attacking Lee’s co-employee. The caption asked, “What would u do if folks like this attack you for no purpose?”

In the video clip, the woman slams her hand and Norwegian passport onto the counter, threatening to contact the embassy on the worker’s “motherf*cking ass.” The female proceeds to cross her arms and make kissing faces, mocking the personnel member.

The online video concludes as the girl claims “f*ck you” and calls for the staff members member’s title.

TikTok end users dubbed the girl “KLIA Karen,” with “Karen” staying a slang phrase often utilised to refer to white ladies with an enlarged perception of entitlement.

Although Lee has refused to expose further particulars with regards to the incident, KLIA district law enforcement main Iram Abd Rahman said the tourist gained a RM100 (somewhere around $23) fantastic for inappropriate conduct, claimed The Straits Situations.
