German coach Jürgen Klopp praised the Polish international, Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski, stressing that he was the best coach during his career as a coach.
Klopp oversaw Lewandowski’s training during four years from 2010 to 2014, when the duo was in the German team Borussia Dortmund, at which time the Polish striker scored 103 goals in 187 matches.
“He is the best player I have ever worked with, and it would be unfair to say something like this about anyone other than Leva,” Klopp said in an interview with “Sport Bild” newspaper, despite the fact that Klopp oversees the training of stars in the Liverpool team, such as Al-Masry. Mohamed Salah, the Brazilian Roberto Fermino, the Senegalese Sadio Mane, the Englishman Jordan Henderson, the leader of the “Reds”, and others.
He added, “If every footballer develops like Lewandowski from the moment I first saw him (Lech Poznan), football would be completely crazy, and all the players would be exceptional.”
Klopp concluded his remarks, saying: “Lewandowski is an absolute scoring machine. He did everything necessary to turn into a monster. He knows exactly what to do in any situation. I want to thank him and the other players who made me a good coach.”
It is noteworthy that Robert Lewandowski (32 years), who became known as “Levan_gul_ski”, scored 32 goals in 24 matches only, in the current season of the German Football League “Bundesliga”.
