Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp said that his team is keeping Joe Gomez and prays to God that he will not be included in the injured list during the current worsening crisis in the club competing in the English Premier League.
Liverpool’s Kostas Tsimikas suffered a broken collarbone during the 1-1 draw with Arsenal last Saturday, which left Liverpool with few options in the left-back position, with first-choice Scot Andy Robertson also absent due to a shoulder injury.

Gomez, who plays on his right foot, is likely to occupy the left-back position until Robertson returns.
Klopp told reporters before facing Burnley outside his stadium – tomorrow, Tuesday -: “It is difficult for us. We suffer injuries sometimes and we accept them all, but breaking the collarbone is very bad because it takes a (very) long time.. The same thing that Robbo (Robertson) suffered. “A different injury, but that also takes a long time, as we all know.”
He continued, “We all know that we need luck in these moments to overcome this, and now we will have Joey (Gomez) and we just have to make sure to preserve him and make sure that he is always ready for the matches.”
Liverpool, in second place, will meet Burnley, who is in second-bottom place, and who beat Fulham with two clean goals in their last league match to move away from the bottom of the standings.
Klopp said he believes Burnley are better than their results show. He said, “I watched a number of Burnley’s matches and I am very impressed with what they are doing, and on Saturday they got the reward.”
He concluded, “We all know that if you win once and have the opportunity to play again three days later, you will want to win again and this is exactly what we expect, and the atmosphere is very good as well. It is better for us to be prepared and we will be.”
