Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp hinted that he does not expect the club to conclude deals in the current winter transfer market despite the injuries he suffers, due to the financial repercussions of the Corona virus.
Klopp said on the sidelines of the match against Aston Villa in the third round of the FA Cup scheduled for Friday evening: “I cannot say that we will definitely not do it (conclude deals), but it is unlikely that this will happen, because of the situation in the world. He’s doing his best, so why would it be any different for a football club? ”

And the German coach added: “This club (Liverpool), with its owners, will always be responsible for the things we do.”
“If the world were in a normal condition, everything would be fine. We won the league (last year), we won the Champions League (in 2019), the club is in the best possible condition, then you have three main players in the center of defense, all injured.” In a situation like this, would we usually do something?
He continued: “Yes, of course, but we are not in this situation, so I do not know if something will happen or not.”
Dutch defenders Virgil van Dyck and English defender Joe Gomez are expected to be absent from Liverpool until the end of the season, while the absence of Cameroonian Joel Matip, who is currently injured, poses a dilemma for Klopp at the center of the defense.
Despite suffering with the curse of injuries this season, Liverpool are still at the top of the Premier League, but they have failed to win their last three matches in the competition for the first time since 2018, putting their position in danger.
