The New York Knicks have confirmed the firing of Tyler Hall to later sign unrestricted free agent Myles Powell.
Hall was hired a week ago by the New York franchise in order to retain his rights to the Development League. Presumably he will return to the Westchester Knicks where he has played the last two seasons.
For his part, Powell has already completed the 2020 preseason with the Knicks, and as has happened with his teammate Hall, the Knicks are expected to fire him soon to retain his GLeague rights.
Myles Powell, 24, trained over four seasons at Seton Hall with NCAA career averages of 17.5 points, 3.3 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.3 steals in 30.8 minutes per game.
