The New York Knicks have formalized the firing of Solomon Hill to later sign Ryan Arcidiacono through a 10-day temporary agreement, the New York franchise reported through an official statement.
Hill joined Cam Reddish from the Atlanta Hawks in the trade that involved Kevon Knox and a future conditional first-round draft pick. The 30-year-old forward becomes an unrestricted free agent in search of a new opportunity in the league.
For his part, Arcidiacono previously signed a temporary contract with the Knicks on January 6, being cut on January 13 without having the opportunity to debut due to a sprained ankle.
The point guard trained at Villanova University has career averages of 4.8 points, 2 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 17.6 minutes in a total of 207 official games (36 starts).
