(CNN) — Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker announced the sex of their baby in true “Kravis” style.
In a video shared on the couple’s Instagram pages on Sunday, Barker is seen sitting on his drum set with Kardashian proudly showing off her baby bump as she sits on his lap at what appeared to be a gender reveal party at the backyard.
Barker blasted the drums seconds before the big reveal, and the couple embraced with a kiss as blue confetti shot out to reveal they’re expecting a boy. Friends and family members gathered for the occasion can be heard cheering with excitement.
Earlier this month, the reality star and Poosh founder announced she was pregnant in a video on Instagram in which she is seen in the audience at a Blink 182 concert holding a sign that reads, “Travis I’m pregnant.”
The next day, she shared more backstage photos from the concert, telling her followers that she was “overwhelmed with gratitude and joy for God’s blessing and plan.”
Kardashian and Barker got engaged in October 2021 and tied the knot last year in multiple ceremonies culminating in a lavish Italian wedding at the private villa of designers Dolce & Gabbana, Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana.
They each have children from previous relationships. Kardashian has three children — Mason, Penelope and Reign — with her former partner Scott Disick. Barker is the father of Landon, her daughter Alabama and stepdaughter Atiana, whom he shares with her ex-wife Shanna Moakler.
This will be the couple’s first child together. They’ve previously shared a bit about their fertility journey on the Hulu reality series, “The Kardashians.”
