Kris Jenner sent out a heart felt birthday greeting to her daughter Khloe’s ex-partner Tristan Thompson on Monday. Kris has stayed close to him even though he cheated on Khloe several times.
The Kardashian matriarch, 67, who donned a blonde wig for a Meghan Trainor music video, reached out to the former NBA player in honor of his 32nd birthday.
‘Happy Birthday, Tristan,’ the 67-year-old reality star wrote at the beginning of the the Instagram Stories slides that began with a photo of the two of them together.
‘I know this year has been hard so far, but you seem to find the positive and the light amongst the sadness.’
Sharing a snap of the former Cleveland Cavalier next to his daughter True as a baby in a pink tub filled with plastic balls, she continued, ‘You look at the glass half full and it has been so great watching you grow as a dad, a friend, a brother, an uncle and a son.’

The next part of the message showed a picture from happier days when Tristan and Khloe were still together, and before the death of his mom, Andrea, who passed away in January.
Khloe appeared to be pregnant with True in the snap.
‘You have shown me such inspiration and many lessons when it comes to how you deal with adversity and challenges that seem insurmountable.’
Since his mother’s death, the athlete has had to take on extra responsibilities in his family, including helping to care for his younger brother, Amari, who suffers from epilepsy.
Kris, Khloe, Kim and Kylie all traveled to Toronto for Andrea’s funeral and Kris spoke at the service.
A picture taken with True sitting on his lap followed, and Kris continued to praise him for overcoming adversity.
‘You have used these challenges as opportunities to better yourself day by day.’
The next slide included a photo of Tristan and his late mom, as Kris continued, ‘And I know how proud your mom is of the man you have become’ followed by three heart emojis.

Kris then shared a photo booth shot of the two as they blew kisses at the camera.
‘Thank you for that, and for being such a special part of our family.’
She finished the birthday wishes with another photo of Tristan and True, closing out with ‘We love you very much,’ followed by a heart emoji and praying hands emoji.
Kris tagged her daughter, Khloe, 38, in several of the photos.
Not only does she share daughter True, with the former Chicago Bull, but they pair also have a son, about seven months old, whose name has not been released.

The couple conceived the baby via a surrogate, but they broke up before he was born after it was revealed Tristan had fathered a child with another woman, Maralee Nichols.
That son, Theo, turned one in December, but Tristan appears to have had little interaction with the tyke.
Tristan is also father to Prince, six, whom he shares with former girlfriend Jordan Craig.
Court documents obtained by RadarOnline indicate the cause of their split was cheating as well.
Tristan cheated several times on Khloe, even when she was pregnant with their daughter True.
His infidelity was explored on her show Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
