Club Doctor Yener İnce has provided an update on the health status of several first-team players.
Regarding İlkay, Dr. İnce stated that his recovery is progressing well and he has resumed on-field training. However, he will not be risked for the upcoming match as his treatment continues. He is expected to rejoin the team by the next international break at the latest.
Singo is fit and available for selection with the squad.
The situation for Yunus is more complex. Dr. İnce explained that while an MRI showed findings similar to osteitis pubis, a clinical examination indicated that this was not the source of his pain. Further advanced tests, including an ultrasound, have diagnosed him with an inguinal hernia.
Dr. İnce noted that while a player can sometimes continue playing with this condition, the pain can escalate to a level that hinders performance. As it is currently affecting his on-field ability, Yunus will not be available for the next match. A decision on his treatment will be made in the coming days after a brief period of rest. The medical team will use exercise tests to determine whether to proceed with immediate surgery, which carries a four-to-six-week recovery period, or to manage the condition if the pain proves tolerable.
