Informed sources in the General Administration of Civil Aviation at Kuwait International Airport revealed that the airspace was allowed to open after four flights were scheduled from Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Doha and Beirut.

The sources explained to the Kuwaiti newspaper, Al-Rai, that based on health instructions, it was decided to open the airport today, Tuesday, for the return of passengers wishing to return to the country, pointing out that the flights include passengers of all categories, citizens and expatriates who have valid residency only.
The sources concluded that Civil Aviation allowed reservations to be opened for those wishing to return to Kuwait after the airport was closed for more than 12 hours.
Yesterday, the Government Communication Center in Kuwait announced the closure of borders and the suspension of commercial flights from Monday until January 1.
