“Al-Qabas” newspaper reported that Kuwait Airport is about to submit a recommendation to the Council of Ministers that expatriates will not enter the country until after health data is available through the MUNA program.
An informed source told the newspaper: “This program is the first line of defense, as it is linked to a wide network of accredited external laboratories, which guarantee the reliability of PCR examination certificates, so that the country’s health authorities can verify through the program all the details of the PCR examination before the passengers come to Kuwait and knowing the date and name of the laboratory in which the examination was conducted. “
Regarding the motives for resorting to this new condition, the source stated that through the compulsory examination of arrivals at the airport by medical staff, cases infected with the Coronavirus were discovered, despite the fact that they carried recent PCR examination certificates.
