The State of Kuwait condemned in the strongest terms the continued targeting of Saudi territories with drones bombed by the Houthis.
The Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement on Sunday that “the continuation of these heinous crimes is an insinuation to threatening the security of sisterly Saudi Arabia and the stability of the region. It is also a clear and blatant violation of international and humanitarian law that criminalizes attacks on civilian areas and civilians.”
Kuwait renewed its call to the international community, especially the Security Council, “to carry out its duties to curb this dangerous escalation and put an end to it and to maintain international peace and security.”
In a statement, the ministry affirmed Kuwait’s stand with Saudi Arabia and its support in all measures it takes to preserve its security and stability.
