Today, Monday, a pricing document showed that Kuwait raised the official selling price of Kuwaiti export crude to Asian refiners next February.
According to the document, Kuwait raised the price of its barrel to Asia by 65 cents a barrel above the average prices offered for Oman crude on the Dubai Mercantile Exchange, and for Dubai crude on the Platts platform.
For comparison, the price for the previous month was 40 cents.
Kuwait’s increase in official selling prices comes after Saudi Arabia, the world’s largest oil exporter, raised its prices for next February for all raw materials sold to Asia.
