Asia Cup
The Kyrgyz national team has reached the Asian Cup finals once, in the 2019 edition hosted by the UAE. The “White Falcons” team qualified for the eighth final of the continental championship, despite being in a strong group that included South Korea and China in addition to the Philippines.
Despite the loss to South Korea and China, the Central Asian national team performed amazingly against the Philippines national team in its last match in the group and won 3-1, which was enough to secure its place in the knockout rounds.
The “Falcons” adventure ended at the hands of the landowner and the fans, and the Kyrgyz team gave a great performance, imposing a draw on the Emirati team and taking the match to extra time before losing 2-3.
