LOOK: Kyrie Irving arrives at the Mavericks training facility after his trade from the Brooklyn Nets to Dallas is finalized as Markieff Morris joins the wantaway guard as part of the deal
Video of recently acquired Dallas Mavericks point guard Kyrie Irving walking to his new teams’ facilities has surfaced after the trade became official.
Irving was seen walking and talking with someone wearing team gear towards a car before waving at the camera.
Then, from the inside of a car, Irving stopped to take pictures with fans eager to take snaps with the newest guard in town.
Joining Irving was Markeiff Morris, who was part of the deal sending Kyrie south in exchange for Spencer Dinwiddie, Dorian Finney-Smith and picks.
Also spotted with them was Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban, who pulled off the trade with just days before the NBA’s deadline.

It was the first images of the guard after the end to the tumultuous Brooklyn chapter of Irving’s career was finally slammed shut.
After joining the Nets in free agency in the summer of 2019, there was optimism that Irving would bring prosperity – and maybe a title – to Brooklyn.
Since then, a series of controversies – ranging from vaccine skepticism and outright refusal to get the jab, to sharing a link to an ‘anti-Semitic’ film , to refusal to play and absences for long stretches of time – have defined Irving’s legacy with the Nets.
In addition, three straight exits before the finals – including two first round sweeps – and only one playoff series won will cast a poor light on these Nets.
But in Dallas, Irving has the chance to start anew in a dynamic backcourt alongside Luka Doncic.
Irving could be set to make his debut in a Mavericks uniform on Wednesday – when his team travels to Los Angeles to face the Clippers.
