LA Clippers star Paul George goes in search of a young driver involved in alleged hit and run of his ‘brand new car’ as he asks his Instagram followers to help identify the culprit… before wife Daniela claims they’ve ‘GOT HIM’ in a now-deleted post
LA Clippers small forward Paul George has gone on the hunt for a ‘kid’ he claims hit his brand new car and drove away without providing any license details.
George alleges that the young driver crashed into his car and pulled off on Thursday, though before doing so he managed to capture him on his Instagram story.
Along with a photo of the accused culprit, the 32-year-old urged his 9.8 million followers to help identify them in a now-deleted post: ‘Anybody know who this kid is. DM me.
‘This kid hit and run my brand new car today. Then dipped without giving me his driver’s license. If you know him, tag him’.

His wife Daniela appeared to suggest the driver had been found in a now-deleted post
Hours later George’s wife Daniela appeared to suggest the Instagram appeal had paid off, as she took to her own story and wrote: ‘GOT HIM!!! TY IG’.
However, that story has since been deleted and no further update has been provided.
It is still unclear where exactly the crash took place and whether police are involved.
George and the Clippers are enduring a anti-climatic 2022-23 campaign after being touted as genuine title contenders, with a disappointing 23-24 record leaving them eighth in the Western Conference.
They have suffered three defeats in their last four games, while George has missed six of their last 10 as he continues to recover from a hamstring injury.
Nevertheless, it is believed he will be available for their next outing against the San Antonio Spurs on Friday night.
After picking up the injury against Miami Heat earlier this month, George said about his chances of a speedy recovery: ‘Just take it day to day, see how I feel tomorrow. Give myself the best chance to be able to compete. Definitely take tomorrow and just get treatment around the clock and try to prepare for the next one.
‘It happened on a drive. I got fouled and went to the rim against Bam. That play right there was late third quarter when I felt a little discomfort.’
