During the Lakers’ 103-97 loss to the crosstown rival Clippers Thursday night, Westbrook was hit with an insult from the bleachers as he exited the court.
‘Westbrook, you suck a**’, a fan shouted from above. Initially, Westbrook seemed to have walked away, before returning moments later to confront the troll.Â

Westbrook’s shooting performance caught the eye of ESPN personality Stephen A. Smith who was critical of both he and the floundering Lakers squad.
‘If you Russell Westbrook, when we say you can’t shoot, you gotta respect the fact that is not an attack against your character,’ Smith said Friday on First Take.Â
‘It’s an attack against your ability to shoot the basketball. Last night he was 0-for-11! 0-for-11!
