Lamar Odom praises Kris Jenner over personal and business relationship…

Lamar Odom opens up about his relationship with Kris Jenner, praising her business acumen and more during his new Fox TV special Sex, Drugs and the Kardashians.

The 43-year-old former NBA star, who was married to Khloe Kardashian from 2009 to 2016, opened up about Jenner, 67, managing him for a period of time.

While he praised Jenner’s business sense… he also revealed that it was Jenner who told Odom that Khloe would be at SoulCycle, that lead to Odom being accused of stalking Khloe.

Accused: While he praised Jenner’s business sense… he also revealed that it was Jenner who told Odom that Khloe would be at SoulCycle, that lead to Odom being accused of stalking Khloe

When TMZ founder Harvey Levin asked how he was with Jenner, Odom revealed, ‘I used to call her ma. She showed a lot of love. She was cool. I loved her.’

When he added they all got into business together, Levin asked if it was ‘dicey’ getting into business with his then-mother-in-law.

‘Yeah. I mean, at that time, I’m married to my wife, you know what I’m saying? I’m comfortable enough to do it. I’m happy enough to do it,’ Odom said.

When Levin asked, ‘Did she manage you well?’ Odom added, ‘Yeah. I made some money. I think so. I came out on the positive.’ 

Odom added, ‘I don’t think people really give them credit for their family dynamic. Family gonna go through s**t, and I think they’ve handled that s**t phenomenally good.

Odom and Khloe Kardashian started dating in August 2009 after meeting at a party of Odom’s Los Angeles Lakers teammate Ron Artest (now known as Metta Sandiford-Artest), and tied the knot just a month later in September 2009.

Odom revealed to Levin that it was Kris Jenner herself who told him where Khloe would be that day. 

‘As far as I can remember, like, I’m a little foggy, but as far as I can remember, she kinda like hooked it up for me to meet Khloe down at SoulCycle,’ Odom began.

‘You know, I get down there and, like, she kinda treated me, like, kinda like she didn’t know me, which was hurtful a little bit. And then she was kinda like making a scene and then, like, Paparazzi came out of nowhere. So I’m kinda, like… I’m hurt by that,’ Odom admitted.

Hooked up: ‘As far as I can remember, like, I’m a little foggy, but as far as I can remember, she kinda like hooked it up for me to meet Khloe down at SoulCycle,’ Odom began

He added that it later came out that he, ‘tried to put my hands on her or something like that.’

He added he was, ‘really hurt and then I got defensive,’ adding that’s when he ‘made a scene’ with a cameraman outside the TMZ offices in August 2015.

Levin added, ‘It sounds like you were kind of set up by Kris,’ though Lamar wonders what she would get out of that.

‘But, like, what would you be setting up? I think about that like okay, like, if you did try to do that, like, why, or… Like what would you– what would you get outta that?’ Odom said.

He added, ‘Try to ruin me or not make me wanna be, like, come around no more or have people thinking about me a certain way or a woman beater, I don’t know.’

Two months after the incident, Odom finally signed the divorce papers that he’d been putting off, and he went to the Bunny Ranch in a night that nearly ended his life.
