Lance Stephenson will attempt to return to the NBA this season through the Development League. According to sources from journalist JD Shaw, the wayward guard will soon sign a contract with the affiliated league.
It should be remembered that Stephenson has not played an NBA game since the 2018-19 season, when he wore the colors of the Los Angeles Lakers. After being left without a team, he was enrolled in the China League, and since then he has tried (without success) to return to the highest competition by conducting private training sessions for various franchises.
31 years old and selected 40th in the second round of the 2014 Draft by the Indiana Pacers, he has career averages of 8.6 points, 4.2 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 23.4 minutes in 504 regular season games. .
He has played for the Pacers, Charlotte Hornets, Los Angeles Clippers, Memphis Grizzlies, New Orleans Pelicans, Minnesota Timberwolves, again the Pacers and the Los Angeles Lakers.
