Lane Kiffin has Ole Miss geared up for one final game in the 2024 season. That would be the Gator Bowl against Duke with a shot to get the Rebels to 10 wins on the season, and one fan was shooting his shot ahead of the game.
Ole Miss enters Thursday’s contest as a 17.5-point favorite per DraftKings, and one fan wanted to know if Lane Kiffin would wager a date with his daughter on the Rebels’ chances of covering the spread. There’s just one problem (or rather at least one problem).
The fan put a date to Chili’s on the line, and Kiffin was quick to put out that fire. According to the head coach, his daughter is “not a Chili’s girl.”
Even with Kiffin shooting down that attempt, the fan would not be deterred. He followed up with an offer to go with Kiffin himself and enjoy some beers, but Landry had his back, shooting down the latest offer with the news that Lane isn’t a beer guy.
It’s quite the back-and-forth to get a game day started, even if Thursday’s game is a bowl game. You can bet Kiffin wants to leave the 2024 season on the right foot, especially after the way other SEC teams have performed in the postseason.
