He continued, “These channels were stopped only in Latvia as another step to marginalize the Russian-speaking population in the country.”
According to him, the audience who follows Russian TV channels will not turn to alternative media in Latvia.
The Latvian operator Tate announced that it would stop broadcasting Russian TV channels, and instead other channels would be offered to viewers.
