Lavrov: Washington obstructs the dialogue between Tehran and the Gulf states

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov accused the US administration of obstructing efforts to conduct dialogue between Iran and the Gulf states.

During a press conference with his Saudi counterpart Prince Faisal bin Farhan, he affirmed Moscow’s interest in the rapprochement of the Gulf states with Tehran. For his part, Bin Farhan said that the settlement of crises in the region depends on a change in the Iranian approach.
