Among the security features mentioned by the Central Bank that traders should know to ensure that the paper is not forged:
The embossed printing that gives the paper a distinct roughness, such as the denomination number, inscriptions, and signatures, in addition to a sign for the blind on the edge of each width of the banknote.
The paper also bore a star-shaped mark at the bottom left of the paper, which appears in a uniform color when looking directly at the paper, and the class number (5000) appears in multiple colors when the paper is folded.
The number (5000) is printed in a color-changing visual ink with a kinetic effect that ripples vertically in a golden color on a light green background, and the corrugation appears in the middle of the denomination number if you look at it directly and when the banknote is tilted, this ripple moves up and down from the middle of the denomination number.

A star-shaped mark completes the features on both sides of the paper when looking at the paper through the light.
Also, the watermark image (punishment), which is the emblem of Syria, and the category number, appear when looking at the paper in front of the light.
And there is the security tape, which is a vertical, shiny silver tape with kinetic effects, and it contains writing for (CBS) letters that move when the paper is tilted and when looking at the tape against the light, the number (5000) appears.
