The third general closure in Lebanon
The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced that it had recorded 41 deaths and 5,872 new cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours.
In its daily report, the Ministry stated that the total number of deaths due to the virus in the country reached 1866, while the total number of infections reached 249,158.
On January 14, Lebanon entered a third general lockdown in light of the worsening outbreak of the Corona virus in the country, and the high number of deaths and daily infections with the virus.
It is expected that the state of health emergency will continue in Lebanon until the twenty-fifth of this month, and includes preventing exit and entry to public roads, and the closure of all departments, institutions and independent interests, universities, schools, nurseries, docks and sports stadiums.
