General closure in Lebanon due to the Corona virus
The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced that it had recorded 54 deaths and 2,081 new cases of Coronavirus in the last 24 hours.
The Ministry stated in its daily report that the total number of deaths due to the virus in the country reached 3616, while the total number of infections reached 319,917.
And the caretaker government in Lebanon announced that the strict closure imposed due to the Corona virus will be gradually eased in four phases of two weeks, starting on Monday.
Caretaker Prime Minister Hassan Diab said in a statement on Friday that although Sunday will be the last day for the complete closure, some restrictions will remain in effect on Monday.
He added, “We will continue to implement measures that prevent a return to before the general closure.”
