LeBron James and Carmelo Anthony watch on as their sons Bronny, Bryce and Kiyan face off in high school game 21 years after their famous fathers first played… and Kim Kardashian and Scottie Pippen are among star-studded audience there to see it too!
Bronny James, Bryce James and Kiyan Anthony were the star attractions at one of the most eagerly-anticipated high school basketball games in history Monday night.
The superstar trio faced off in front of a celebrity crowd in Los Angeles, with the James brothers’ Sierra Canyon beating Anthony’s Christ the King 62-51 to move to a 7-1 record for the season.
While the result may have mattered to some of the crowd, the majority were just there to see the sons of NBA legends LeBron James and Carmelo Anthony face off 21 years after their famous fathers first played each other.
Among the star-studded audience was Kim Kardashian, Scottie Pippen, Scotty Pippen Jr, Kenyon Martin, Penny Hardaway and Juju Watkins, while the game was broadcast live to the nation on ESPN2.

At halftime, LeBron and Melo were pictured hugging on the court, before engaging in a long chat – no doubt about the first-half exploits of their sons.
The legendary NBA pair first played against each other back in February 2002 at the Sovereign Bank Arena in Trenton, New Jersey, with 11,000 fans in attendance.
Although there were far less at Sierra Canyon on Monday, there was certainly some basketball royalty in the room to watch the action unfold.
Anthony and James played together at the Los Angeles Lakers last season, but Melo is currently a free agent as he weighs up his next move.

Being interviewed at halftime by ESPN, he explained his desire to return to the NBA, but admitted any decision was currently out of his hands.
‘I realize there’s a lot of things that’s not in my control,’ he said. ‘So I can sit back and let it play out, and whatever it’s going to be, it’s going to be and I accept that.’
On the court in LA Monday, Kiyan Anthony ended with 10 points, but he was just overshadowed by the impressive display of Bronny James, who had 12 points.
The best player on the court, though, was Sierra Canyon’s Isiah Elohim with 17 points, while Christ the King’s best player came in the form of Brandon Williams (16pts).
