Kareem Abdul-Jabbar began his career with the Bucks back in 1969 after he was drafted out of UCLA under the name Lew Alcindor.
Alcindor took on the name Kareem Abdul-Jabbar when he converted to Islam in the summer of 1971 and continued to play in Milwaukee until 1975.
He was traded to Los Angeles that year and won five titles with the Lakers – with his last coming in 1988.
Kareem retired with 38,387 points to his name – the most of any NBA player in history.
