REVEALED: LeBron James’ historic high school shoes set to hit auction and could fetch an eye-watering $200,000… as collectors try to get their hands on ‘Jumpman Swifts’ that helped NBA legend win state title in his freshman year in Ohio
Special shoes from a special NBA player are being put up for auction – and the price tag could reach six figures.
A pair of Jordan Jumpman Swift 6s worn by a freshman LeBron James is being sold through Heritage Auctions in a matter of weeks.
These were the shoes James wore on the court as St. Vincent-St. Mary High School in Akron, Ohio won the state title in his freshman year.

These Jordan Jumpman Swift 6 shoes were worn by James in his first Ohio state title campaign
The shoes were a gift to James’ stepfather Eddie Jackson back in the year 2000 – and were verified by Jackson through the auction house.
This item is autographed by James and are inscribed with the number ’23’ as well as the phrase ‘1999-2000 State Champs’.
‘The 1999-2000 season was LeBron’s freshman year and his first State title. LeBron’s performance in the championship game, with 25 points and 9 rebounds en route to victory, earned him national attention for the first time,’ Jackson’s letter of provenance said.Â
‘Accompanying the shoes and this letter is an original photo of LeBron playing in the championship game with the shoes on, as well as the original box for the shoes. LeBron gave me these shoes after the championship match and signed them for me.’

These size 14 shoes are believed to be the earliest known game worn gear from James, according to Heritage.
Heritage also puts a price estimate of $200,000 or more on this item – which wouldn’t come close to some other memorabilia of James’ from previous auctions.
An unsigned, game worn jersey from the 2020-21 All-Star game was bought for $250,140 back in March of 2021.Â
There are even trading cards of James’ that vastly exceed that number – with a 2003 Upper Deck rookie patch card having previously been sold for $5.2million.
Heritage Auctions believes these shoes could fetch at least $200,000 when they’re sold off
