LeBron James’ son Bronny ‘will choose between Ohio State, USC and Oregon’ after picking out his top three college choices… with the high-school star set to make his decision once Sierra Canyon’s season ends in late February or early March
Bronny James has narrowed his college choices down to either Ohio State, USC and Oregon and will make his decision in late February or early March, according to reports.
James, the eldest son of NBA legend LeBron, is three-and-a-half years into his high school basketball career with Sierra Canyon, who currently sit at 18–4 and in first place in its division.
The 18-year-old combo-guard is following in the largest possible footsteps, a daunting prospect which would likely throw most young players off their game, yet Bronny does not appear fazed by the family name.
He has showcased his raw potential on several occasions for Sierra Canyon, averaging 20 points in a three-game stretch against Chaminade, Marietta (Ga.) Wheeler and L.A. Loyola, while leaving his teammates and coaches stunned after producing a between-the-legs jam against the former.

Bronny, the eldest son of LeBron (L), is said to have had nine college offers on the table
It is believed James now has offers on the table from nine college teams as he prepares to take the next step on his basketball journey, and they have been narrowed down to three.
According to the Los Angeles Times, he will pick between Ohio – his home state and clear favorite of LeBron – USC and Oregon at the end of Sierra Canyon’s season, which will be in late February or early March.
The report suggests that Memphis Tigers, the other main program interested in recruiting him, are now out of the running.

LeBron has made no secret of his desire to one day play with his son in the NBA
James has already penned an endorsement deal with Nike as he gears up for his college career, which mother Savannah believes will be a ‘really cool’ way to ‘start his legacy’ in the sport.
‘Bronny wants to have a college career,’ Savannah told Sports Illustrated.
‘I think it would be really cool for him to start with collegiate basketball, just to start his legacy there.’
LeBron has made no secret of his desire to one day play alongside his son in the NBA, but Bronny will first need to navigate college as NBA rules prohibit prospects from entering the league directly from high school, as his father did in 2003.
‘My last year will be played with my son,’ LeBron told The Athletic last year.
‘Wherever Bronny is at, that’s where I’ll be. I would do whatever it takes to play with my son for one year. It’s not about the money at that point.’
