LeBron James had a day off from the Lakers on Wednesday, but he didn’t veer too far away from basketball as he watched his eldest son Bronny dominate his senior night for Sierra Canyon.
James was joined by his wife Savannah and daughter Zuri in the crowd, while Bronny’s brother Bryce is also on the Sierra Canyon team.
Rapper Diddy was also in attendance, according to TMZ.

Bronny James scored 18 points and nearly had a triple double in the senior night win
LeBron later shared an emotional tribute to his son with an emotional post on Instagram
And the 18-year-old put on a show for his dad and others in attendance, scoring 18 points as Sierra Canyon defeated Loyola 71-52. The senior also had eight rebounds and seven assists in the effort.
His proud dad took to Instagram soon after, writing alongside a picture of the family on court: ‘So Damn Proud of the Young Man you’ve become Bronny!!
‘Yesterday we celebrated you for Senior Night! Can’t believe how fast time is flying by but at the same time I haven’t taken 1 second for granted being your dad! Love you kid! Keep leading, being an example to/for your siblings/ your peers and most importantly simply just keep being YOU!!!!’
James has steadily come into his own as a prospect after playing behind a star-studded lineup earlier in his high school career.
He’s considered a four-star recruit, and has received offers from Ohio State and USC, according to 247 Sports.
And while a pro career for Bronny is at least a year away, his dad is already thinking about that prospect.
James and his wife Savannah sat courtside to cheer their eldest son on in the game
‘I need to get on the court with my son, I want to be on the court with Bronny,’ the Lakers star told ESPN this week.
‘Either with the same team or in a game against him. I don’t mean we’ll do one on one in a game, but I’d love to do something Ken Griffey Sr. and Jr. style. It would be awesome, no doubt.
‘I ask him what his aspirations are and he says he wants to play in the NBA so, if he wants to do that, he has to work for it. I’m already here, I’m just waiting for him.’
James previously told The Athletic that his last season would be played with his son – a situation that could fuel unprecedented movement to select Bronny in the NBA draft and get his four-time MVP father as a package deal.
James is having an incredible year individually – especially for his age – as the 38-year-old is averaging 29.1 points per night.
He’s not getting a ton of help, however, as the Lakers are 19-22 and 12th in the Western Conference.
