Leonardo DiCaprio, 48, goes shirtless as he joins bikini babe on a superyacht in sun-soaked Sardinia

Leonardo DiCaprio showcased his buff physique as he soaked up the sun on a superyacht off the coast of Sardinia, Italy on Saturday.

The Oscar winning actor, 48, went shirtless donning a pair of blue swimming trunks as he joined pals including a bikini-clad babe on board the multi-million dollar vessel. 

Leo displayed his hairy chest and wore a gold chain around his neck, with his dark locks slicked back. 

He later shielded himself from the scorching sun by pulling on a cream baseball cap and dark shades.

The star appeared relaxed and at ease as he strolled along the deck before enjoying lunch and later a spot of sunbathing.

Alongside his male pals, one gorgeous brunette beauty flaunted her jaw-dropping figure in a skimpy pink thong two-piece.

Leo has reportedly been spending time with his close fiend, supermodel Irina Shayk.

The Titanic star, and Irina, 37, who has a child with actor Bradley Cooper, were both at Naomi Campbell’s birthday bash at the Cannes Film Festival earlier this month. 

The Russian supermodel, who lives in New York, was also among those attending the premiere of his latest film Killers of Flower Moon.

They have known each other a long time and were both at Coachella this spring – although officially they are ‘just friends’. 

At 37, Irina is a little older than the actor’s usual companions, with Leo usually dating women 25 and under.

Leo was most recently linked to model Gigi Hadid after the pair were spotted at the same showbiz events and parties.

Sources said Gigi, who has a daughter Khai, two, with ex Zayn Malik, and Leo are still on friendly terms and meet up when ‘their busy schedules permit’.

‘They both enjoy each other’s company and have fun together when their busy schedules permit.

‘Yolanda and Bella know Gigi is capable of making her own healthy decisions and they’re supportive of her, Gigi’s main priority is her baby girl.’

The source added to Entertainment Tonight: ‘Her daughter is always top of mind and at the forefront of everything in her life.’

Gigi and Leo’s reported romance was previously said to have ‘fizzled out’. The model split from Zayn Malik in 2021 after six years and share their daughter Khai.

Meanwhile, Leo recently hit back at claims he has been seeing Love Island’s Maya after they were introduced by mutual friends.

He denied the new string of rumours after a source told the The Sun Leo and Maya ‘are in regular contact and have been on a string of dates’.

Leo’s latest Apple TV+ film, Killers Of The Flower Moon, has received a high amount of praise and critical acclaim since its premiere at the festival on Saturday.

The project is based on a 2017 nonfiction book titled, Killers of the Flower Moon: The Osage Murders and the Birth of the FBI, written by David Grann.

Some of the star-studded cast includes Leonardo, Robert De Niro, Brendan Fraser, Lily Gladstone, and also Jesse Plemons.

After the screening of the film at Cannes, the project garnered a whopping nine-minute standing ovation, per Variety.

Director Martin Scorsese addressed the applauding crowd to express his gratitude and stated, ‘Thank you to the Osages. Everyone connected with the picture. My old pals Bob and Leo, and Jesse and Lily. We shot this a couple of years ago in Oklahoma. It’s taken its time to come around, but Apple did so great by us.’
