It is noteworthy that the “Stability Support Authority” denied that the Minister of Interior of the Government Fathi Bashagha had an assassination attempt on Sunday.
The agency confirmed in a statement that “Bashagha’s guards fired immediately when a vehicle belonging to the agency encountered the passage of the minister’s motorcade.”
He added, “What happened is poor coordination and misconduct by the Interior Minister’s guards, and the agency denies any attempt to assassinate the minister and pledges to pursue those involved in shooting his employees in accordance with the law and legislation.”
