The Security Chamber in Benghazi issued a statement on Thursday regarding the latest developments in the killing of Major Mahmoud Al-Warfali, who was assassinated on Wednesday.
It said in the statement that based on what was reported by the Military Prosecution in Benghazi, which started its work in the assassination of Lieutenant Colonel Mahmoud Busayef Al-Warfali, and after investigations and following up on the findings of the investigation team in the assassination of the late Lt. Col. Mahmoud Mustafa Abu Saif Al-Warfalli, 3 suspects were arrested.

The Security Chamber confirmed that the Military Prosecution in Benghazi has launched investigations to reach the truth in accordance with legal procedures and in a manner that guarantees the right of everyone.
And it called on all citizens to cooperate in informing the Chamber or the nearest security authority of any information that would benefit the investigation procedures.
The Chamber published the specifications of the cars that participated in the assassination, and said that it was a “Toyota Tundra” four-wheel-drive car with a dark-glass color, a 2020 model without metal plates, and its last appearance was in the West Benghazi Gate, and a white, opaque Toyota Tundra without license plates. Metallic, plus an opaque white Nissan Patrol Safari without license plates.
