The Playstation 5 will launch on November 12th in the US, Canada, Japan, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, and South Korea – and on November 19th in the rest of the world – while Sony has confirmed that the PS5 console will release with several first party launch games.
Currently, there are few games that have been confirmed to be a launch game for the PS5, with many more considered to be in the “Launch Window” of the PS5. Games available at the launch of the PlayStation 5 include:
- Astro’s Playroom
- Demon Souls
- Destruction All Stars
- Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales
- Sackboy: A Big Adventure
In addition to Sony’s own launch titles, other developers will be releasing certain games around the time of the PS5 launch date, and many games released earlier in the year will be updated to take advantage of the PS5’s power. Note that most but not all of these games have been confirmed to be optimized at launch. This includes the following games:
- Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla
- Cyberpunk 2077* (Releases alongside PS5 worldwide launch on Nov 19th)
- Call of Duty: Black Ops – Cold War* (Releases Nov 13th)
- Devil May Cry 5: Special Edition
- Destiny 2: Beyond Light
- Godfall
- Fortnite
- Maneater
- Observer: System Redux
- Watch Dogs Legion
In addition, the PlayStation 5 will feature the PlayStation Plus Collection – a program available to PlayStation Plus users allowing them to download and play a large library of PS4 games at launch, which include the following titles:
- Battlefield 1
- Batman: Arkham Knight
- Bloodborne
- Days Gone
- Detroit: Become Human
- Fallout 4
- Final Fantasy 15
- God of War (2018)
- Infamous: Second Son
- Monster Hunter World
- Mortal Kombat 10
