Microsoft has been known in the years leading up to the release of the Xbox Series X for aquiring new developer talent and purchasing game studios to work on producing games for the Microsoft brand. Not all of the games these studios make will be exclusive to the Xbox Series X and Windows 10, but it is likely that many will be once any current projects planned by those studios are complete.
