Egyptian star Mohamed Salah continued to score for the fourth consecutive match in various competitions, leading his team, Liverpool, to a 3-0 victory over its guest, Nottingham Forest, today, Sunday, in the tenth round of the English Premier League.
The remaining matches of the stage resulted in Everton defeating its host West Ham United 1-0, Aston Villa defeating its guest Luton Town 3-1, while Brighton tied with its guest Fulham 1-1.
At Anfield Stadium, Liverpool’s stronghold, Portuguese Diogo Jota completed a quick counterattack to open the scoring in the 31st minute and celebrated by raising the shirt of his teammate Luis Diaz, who missed the match after his parents were kidnapped in Colombia, his hometown.
The second goal came after wonderful teamwork that disrupted Forest’s defense before Dominik Soboslai played the ball to his Uruguayan teammate, Darwin Nunez, who slotted it into the net in the 34th minute.
With the Reds dominating the second half, Salah took advantage of a mistake by the opponent’s goalkeeper to complete the hat-trick in the 77th minute and continue scoring for the fourth match in a row.
