The Liverpool team suffered a humiliating defeat at home to Burnley (0-1), in the match that took place between them on Thursday evening, in the 19th round of the English Premier League.
Burnley team owes its victory to its striker Ashley Barnes, who scored his only winning goal from a penalty kick that he got himself, in the 83rd minute of the match at Anfield.
This is the first defeat for Liverpool under the leadership of its German coach, Jürgen Klopp, at home after 68 games, since April 2017 when it lost to Chelsea in “Anfield”.
Liverpool’s score has stopped at 34 points, and it is ranked fourth so far in the Premier League table.
Burnley raised his score after this victory to 19 points from 18 games, and advanced to the fifteenth position on the league table.
