London mayoral candidate Brian Rose has been spotted playing with nunchucks in his underwear in a cringeworthy video that recently emerged online.

The US-born former Wall Street banker, 49, is currently polling at around two per cent, according to the latest forecast for the May 6 election.

He recently raised eyebrows after a video resurfaced online of the independent candidate drinking his own urine, which he described as ‘a little salty’, in 2018. 

The latest clip shows Mr Rose standing in a pair of striped underwear and swinging nunchucks as he makes exaggerated sound effects to go alongside the faux fight.

According to the Mirror, the bizarre footage was posted to Mr Rose’s Facebook page in 2019. It appears to have since been deleted.

Alongside the clip, which lasts for almost a minute, the politician explained he decided to wield the nunchucks after watching a Bruce Lee movie. 

Nunchucks – or nunchaku – are considered to be an offensive weapon in the UK.

However, it is legal to own and use the martial arts weapon in private with a licence.  

Mr Rose wrote: ‘After watching Bruce Lee movies as a kid it’s every little boy’s dream to wield the nunchaku like a pro! 

‘I just picked these up on Amazon and believe it or not it’s my first morning ever playing with them!!’

The footage has since been shared on social media, with one woman writing on Twitter that the display is ‘far more embarrassing than any sex tape.’   

Another baffled viewer said: ‘That was funny on mute, but I nearly spat my coffee out when I turned volume up’.

A third added: ‘At first I didn’t know there was sound – then I was horrified.’ 

It comes after another clip emerged on YouTube last week, unearthed by Guido Fawkes, of the former banker drinking a glass of his own urine.

In another video, taken on a separate occasion, Mr Rose had sipped the liquid with free runner Timothy Shieff, describing it as ‘really not bad at all’. 

Mr Rose is currently polling at two per cent ahead of the London mayoral elections on May 6 – one point higher than Count Binface. 

In January, he accused Boris Johnson of ‘undermining democracy’ after he and his campaign team were fined for breaching Covid restrictions after taking to the capital’s streets with their battle bus.

Mr Rose said he and four members of his team were slapped with £200 penalty notices by City of London police who told them that ‘campaigning was not a necessary reason to be out of your homes’. 

He had been recording a video with his team in Southwark when a police descended on him and his team outside their ‘digital battle bus’, which began a 15 day tour of London’s boroughs on Friday.

After being fined and told to go home, he said: ‘This wasn’t a couple of officers making a spur-of-the-moment call – we had been under surveillance and the officer in charge was quite clear that we were being arrested for campaigning.

‘I have no issue whatsoever with the arresting officers, who are in an impossible position. They are putting their lives on the line daily – indeed, only last week, a young Met officer lost his life to Covid.

‘Responsibility for ensuring that secure, safe and fair elections can take place in May rests with the Government. Boris Johnson’s rampant indecision has already damaged London’s economy and is in danger of derailing the May elections in yet more last-minute chaos.’
