The British Foreign Office said, in a statement issued Tuesday, that Raab will call on the NATO allies, during his meeting at the foreign ministers’ level on Wednesday, to “confront the threat from NATO and make them feel the real repercussions of their hostile activities.”
The statement indicated that Raab intends to talk in detail about the “Russian threat”, and what he described as “the changing nature of Russian aggression, which uses new and destructive technology, which threatens democracies and open societies all over the world.”
The ministry explained that the talk is about “Russia’s development of the latest missile systems capable of circumventing the usual means of air defense, and the cyber attacks supported by the state, which target important databases and are approved in order to interfere in the elections and spread misleading information about the Corona virus.”

Russia has repeatedly accused NATO of bringing its military installations closer to the Russian border, as the alliance has sharply intensified its activities, including maneuvers and weapons deployments, which resulted in the escalation of tension between the two parties and the dismantling of the security system in Europe.
Moscow also confirmed that “military contacts have been completely cut off” between the two sides, which “represents a major barrier to political dialogue” in the Russia-NATO Council.
