LONDON, Nov 19 (Reuters) – British Brexit Minister David Frost said on Friday that significant differences remain with the European Union on most issues related to the Northern Ireland protocol and that if not find a solution, use article 16.
“There are still significant gaps on most issues,” Frost said.
“If a solution cannot be found, we remain prepared to use the safeguard provisions of Article 16,” said Frost.
