The Milwaukee Bucks have announced the firing of Johnny O’Bryant, who came to the Wisconsin franchise as a free agent last September through an “unsecured” deal that allowed him to do preseason under Mike Budenholzer.
O’Bryant, 28, has not played an official NBA game since the 2017-18 season. After his departure he has passed through the ranks of Maccabi of Tel Aviv, Lokomotiv Kuban, Red Star of Belgrade and Turk Telecom.
Selected in 36th place in the second round of the 2014 Draft by the Bucks, he has NBA career averages of 3.5 points, 2.4 rebounds and 11.5 minutes in 147 official games (19 as a starter).
