College Football Playoff rankings 3.0: Committee’s decisions suggest Ohio State will be given benefit of doubt
SportsPulse: Despite cancellations Ohio State shouldn’t be sweating their shot at the College Football Playoff according to Dan Wolken.
Louisville football coach Scott Satterfield penned a letter to season ticket holders Thursday evening apologizing for the rumors surrounding the South Carolina coaching position.
Satterfield said he had a “conversation” with the Gamecocks administration about their job opening despite not being interested in the job.
“I own my mistakes and I am asking today for your forgiveness,” he wrote.
The Gamecocks hired Shane Beamer, an assistant at Oklahoma and son of Hall of Fame coach Frank Beamer.
Satterfield also had apologized to fans during his Monday news conference.
“In the days, weeks, and months ahead I will do what is necessary to earn back the trust and support of each and every one of you,” he wrote Thursday.
The Cardinals will play Wake Forest in their final game of the regular season at noon ET Saturday at Cardinal Stadium.
