Oil prices decreased, during trading on Wednesday, slightly despite the decline in US crude inventories.
By 09:30 Moscow time, US light crude, “West Texas Intermediate”, fell 0.22% to $ 58.23 a barrel. Brent crude futures fell by 0.16% to $ 60.99 a barrel.
Data from the American Petroleum Institute showed that oil inventories in the United States recorded an unexpected drop last week.
Crude stocks fell by 3.5 million barrels in the week ending on the fifth of February to about 474.1 million barrels, while analysts polled by Reuters had expected an increase of 985 thousand barrels.
