Luchatitlán, “The House of Wrestling” is inaugurated in Cancun

Cancun, QR. The Secretary of Tourism of the Government of Mexico, Miguel Torruco Marquesand the governor of Quintana Roo, Mara Lezama Espinosa, led the inauguration of the Arena Cancún luchatitlan “The house of wrestling”, a new anchor attraction that enriches the tourist offer of Cancun.

Accompanied by the municipal president of Benito Juárez, Quintana Roo, Ana Patricia Peralta; the head of the Ministry of Tourism (It follows) specified that Cancun is in first place in the country in arrivals of tourists from the United States and Canada; it also occupies the first position in reception of tourists by air; and it ranks second in hotel infrastructure.

Torruco Marqués highlighted that, in 2018, Lucha Libre was declared by the government of the country’s capital, as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Mexico Cityand on September 12, 2019, by decree of the Congress of the Union, published in the Official Gazette of the Federation, September 21 is established as the National Day of Lucha Libre and the Mexican Professional Wrestler.
