Saudi Arabian club Al Hilal has reportedly offered Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak a tax-free weekly wage of £600,000 to fend off interest from Liverpool. The deal is said to include substantial bonuses for winning the Saudi Pro League or AFC Champions League.
While sources indicate the 25-year-old is open to leaving Newcastle, Liverpool remains a primary suitor. However, the Premier League champions would likely be unable to match Al Hilal’s financial offer or meet Newcastle’s reported £120 million asking price.
Meanwhile, Real Madrid continues its pursuit of Arsenal centre-back William Saliba, who impressed the Spanish giants during last season’s Champions League quarterfinal. Despite Madrid’s interest, Arsenal remains resolute in its decision to keep the 24-year-old, reportedly unwilling to consider offers even in excess of €100 million. Saliba, a France international, is under contract with the Gunners until 2027.
