If we recently announced that Luka Doncic could return to action in Dallas’ next game against Milwaukee, we now know that this will not happen as he has entered the NBA’s health and safety protocols against the coronavirus with his teammate Trey Burke.
The inclusion of the two pieces of the Mavericks in the protocols adds to the large percentage of players who are already in it, which has caused some games to be postponed (the last Chicago-Toronto and Brooklyn-Portland) and that the teams replace absences with numerous temporary contracts; all with the aim of not having to stop the competition.
Regarding the team’s situation, Dallas has maintained an irregular line since the beginning of the season beyond the casualties due to injury or COVID. They currently occupy the eighth place in the Western Conference with a balance of 15-15; yes, only half a game behind those classified in fifth and sixth position, the Nuggets and Clippers respectively.
