Magic Johnson and LL Cool J in Athens on annual vacation aboard $150K A DAY luxury super yacht

 In the 1980s his annual summer tradition used to be playing in the NBA Finals.

And Magic Johnson’s more recent annual tradition is definitely more relaxing and luxurious.

The 62-year-old Los Angeles Lakers legend was joined by his longtime pal LL Cool J, 54, as they enjoyed a day touring in Athens, Greece on Thursday.

The outing was a mere pitstop in their annual summer trip aboard a $150K a day luxury super yacht which makes stops all over Europe as they were joined by their friends and families.

The two pals – who were accompanied by their wives Cookie Johnson and Simone Smith –  were seen snapping selfies as they toured an ancient citadel called Acropolis of Athens.

They even stopped to take a photo with an ancient Greek warrior (who happened to be dressed more like Spartan from 2007 Zack Snyder film 300) as LL – born James Todd Smith – held a spear and Magic posed with the shield.

 According to TMZ, this trip is costing the stars $150K a day for the luxury super yacht.

The yacht itself – which is named the Solandge – is a whopping 85-meters and has 8 staterooms for 12 guests and can hold a crew up to 34.

The ship – built in 2013 and renovated in 2019 – is packed with amenities including jaccuzi, swimming pool, gym sauna, movie theater, and even a helipad.

According to TMZ sources, it costs $1million do rent the yacht.

The publication notes that it has become annual tradition as back in 2017, the NBA legend spend $680K weekly on a yacht where they spent several years.

A global pandemic wasn’t even enough to stop the trip as it has gone on previously in 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021.

It is also often star-studded as Samuel L. Jackson has been a staple on these vacations in addition to Tiffany Haddish, Rodney and Holly Robinson Peete.
