Malala Yousafzai and her husband Asser Malik attended the gala performance of new musical Cinderalla at the Gillian Lynne Theatre in London on Monday.
The Nobel Prize winner, 24, looked effortlessly chic in a pink outfit paired with black sandals, alongside Pakistani cricket coach Asser, 31, who appeared equally polished in a black suit teamed with a t-shirt.
Having tied the knot less than two weeks ago in an intimate ceremony of just 12 guests at Malala’s Birmingham home, the couple looked in good spirits.
They beamed as they posed for photographs with Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber and his wife Madeline when attending the occasion, which is raising funds for Malala’s fund.

Malala opted for a stunning pink outfit with a floral design teamed with fashionable black sandals.
The 24-year-old completed her look with bold red lipstick while wearing her hair in a side-parting underneath a scarf. Meanwhile, husband Asser looked dapper in his choice of a black suit and grey t-shirt.
The newlyweds put their honeymoon on hold for now to stay in London – and spent their first couple of days married watching Pakistan take on Australia in the semi-final of the T20 World Cup.
Malala and Asser’s relationship had been kept secret from the wider world.

The only hint of the blossoming romance came in July when Asser posted a birthday message to his future wife which read ‘Happy Birthday to the most amazing Malala’ alongside a photograph of the couple standing next to each other.
It is unknown how long Malala and Mr Malik had been dating but in June 2019, they were pictured together with a group of friends watching England play Pakistan at Edgbaston.
Malala captured hearts around the world after she was shot in the face by Taliban gunmen for continuing to go to school nine years ago.
Emerald Fennell has said hosting a gala performance of her new musical Cinderella to raise money for Malala Yousafzai’s fund means ‘a huge amount to all of us’.
Written by The Crown star Fennell and starring Carrie Hope Fletcher with music by Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber, the stage musical opened in the summer after months of pandemic delays.

Speaking ahead of the performance, Fennell said: ‘I think Malala is the most incredible inspiration to everyone in the world, and most particularly women and girls.
‘She has fought for human rights and equal rights, and so just to be able to help her fund in any small way that we can means a huge amount to all of us.’
Cinderella is described as a ‘complete reinvention’ of the classic fairytale, and is based on an original idea by Fennell.
Speaking about its themes of female empowerment, she said: ‘I would never be so bold as to equate anything that we would do with someone like Malala’s work.
‘But I hope that any story that centres young women can only be a good thing.’
Malala (pictured, with Andrew Lloyd Webber) has continued to be a prominent campaigner for the rights of women and girls since recovering from being shot
On theatre’s return after lockdown, she added: ‘It is amazing. It is so heartwarming. I think we all missed it so much and so I feel incredibly grateful to be here.’
Malala was shot in the head by a Taliban gunman at the age of 15 after campaigning for girls to be educated in her native Pakistan.
Since recovering from her injuries, the Nobel Prize laureate has continued to be a prominent campaigner for the rights of women and girls.
Proceeds from the performance will go to the Malala Fund, which aims to support the education of girls around the world.
Sir Ben Kingsley and his wife Daniela Lavender, musician and presenter Myleene Klass, Britain’s Got Talent judge Amanda Holden, David Walliams and his mother Kathleen, and filmmaker Paul Feig were also among those in attendance.
